Frances B. (Jacewicz) Kmiotek, 84, died at BayPointe Nursing & Rehab. Center in Brockton on Tuesday, October 2 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Stanley F. Kmiotek. Born and educated in Boston, Mrs. Kmiotek was a resident of Stoughton for 5 years after living in Dorchester and the West End for many years. She was a resident of Baypointe for the past 3 years. She was a homemaker. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Kmiotek is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Mullins of Quincy, Frances M. Piasecki and Patricia M. McBride both of Stoughton and her sister, Irene Saschuck of Randolph. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, October 6 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester. Donations in Frances' name may be made to Alzheimer's Assn., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
