Frances B. (Zeigler) DuPont, 80, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Friday, June 13, at the BayPointe Nursing and Rehabilitaion Center in Brockton. Born in East Liverpool, OH, she was raised and educated in East Liverpool. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1974, previously living in Cambridge for 15 years. Frances was a homemaker. She was an active volunteer at the Stoughton Senior Center and also won the Silver Dove Award from the Governor for her volunteer work. In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her family.
Frances is survived by her children, Joseph Michael DuPont of Chelmsford, Stephen L. DuPont of Cambridge, Crystal M. Kniskern of Stoughton, Kande D. DuPont of Brockton, Gigi Y. Hammond of Ware, Robin L. Hopkins of Norton and the late Darryl R. DuPont. She was the sister of Geraldine Deiderick of OH, Lloyd Ziegler, Jr. of CA and the late Richard Ziegler. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, June 17 at 7:30 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 5-7:30 PM. Interment will be private.
