Floyd Byron Austin

Floyd Byron Austin, 83, died at the Eliot Healthcare Center in Natick on Thursday, October 7. He was the husband of the late Victoria M. (Condangelo) Austin. Born and raised in Hartland, ME, he was a resident of Framingham for the past 5 years after living in Stoughton for many years. Mr. Austin was served in the U.S. Navy and was a Veteran of World War II. He was a land surveyor for Austin Engineering in Stoughton for over 15 years before retiring 20 years ago. An avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed fly fishing and hunting.
Mr. Austin was the father of Peter E. Austin of Framingham and the late Stephen E. Austin. He is also survived by his daughters-in-law, Kathleen Austin and Pinky Chin, grandchildren, Stephanie and Jason & his wife Christina and his great-granddaughter, Hailie.
Funeral Services will be private. Donations in Floyd's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
