Flora P. (Pedro) Camara, 82, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 10 at Boston Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Augusto C. Camara. Born and raised in Flores, Azores, Portugal, she resided in Stoughton for the past 42 years. Mrs. Camara was an assembler at Morse Shoe in Canton for 18 years before retiring in 1989. She sang in the Portuguese church choir at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton for many years. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, crocheting and especially spending time with her family.

Mrs. Camara is survived by her son, Nestor P. Camara and his wife Donna of Stoughton, as well as her grandchildren, Kerri Burke and her husband Keith, Lisa Reagan and her husband Gary, Cindi Camara and Steven Camara and his wife Christina and her great-grandchildren, Shaylin and Rylin Reagan and Kennedy Burke. She was the sister of Rosaria Camara of Stoughton, Nestor Pedro of Portugal and the late Carminda Salvador, Maria Freitas and Jose Pedro. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, September 14 at 11 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 12 Noon. Visiting Hours Thursday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
