Eugenia M. (Trilikis) Georges, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at her daughter's home in Arlington on Friday, February 27, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Michael L. Georges. Born and raised in Boutiani, Greece, she moved to Stoughton in 1963. Mrs. Georges was a clerk at Handy Cash & Carry in Stoughton for 31 years before retiring in 1994. She loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed shopping and traveling abroad.
Mrs. Georges is survived by her children, Nina Georges and her husband Jacob Edwards of Arlington and Michael L. Georges, Esq. and his wife Lauri A. Moossa, Esq. of Millbury. She was the grandmother of Karis Georges Edwards and Michaela Georges Edwards. She was the sister of Alexandra Boretos and Froso Karin both of Greece and the late Takis Trilikis and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister-in-law of Demetra and Donald Phillips of Randolph.
Visitation will be held from St. George Orthodox Church, 6 Atwood Ave., Norwood on Tuesday, March 3 from 10-11 followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eugenia's memory may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
