Eugene R. "Gino" Lavoie

Eugene R. "Gino" Lavoie, 60, died Monday, January 14, 2013 at his home in Stoughton. Born in Chippewa Falls, WI, he was raised and educated in Winthrop, MA and was a longtime resident of Stoughton. He worked as a machinist for Ark-Les Switch in Stoughton for several years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, working on his truck, repairing household items and cooking on his grill. He also loved his cat and playing scratch tickets.

He was the father of Renee D. Lavoie of NH, James E. Lavoie of Stoughton and Amanda L. Lavoie of Oxford. He is survived by his brothers Earl Lavoie of NH and Russell Lavoie of MA. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, January 17, from 5-8 PM. Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gino's memory may be made to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130 or www.mspca.org.
