Ester A. (Furtado) DeAna

Ester A. (Furtado) DeAna, 93, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Copley at Stoughton on Friday, July 6, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Antonio C. DeAna. Daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Agueda) Furtado, she was born and raised in Corvo, Azores, Portugal. She resided in Stoughton since 1972. Ester was an assembler at Corcoran Shoe in Stoughton before retiring 30 years ago. She was a longtime communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. Her greatest joy was spending time with family.

Ester is survived by her family, Jose A. DeAna and his wife Emilia of Stoughton, Luis F. DeAna and his wife Silvina of Turlock, CA, Jose C. DeAna and his wife Kitty of Brockton and Maria C. Morais and her husband Jose of Stoughton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, July 11 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
