Erwins Albert, 36, a resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Friday, May 6, 2016. Son of Nemours and Marie C.P. "Paula" (Ligonde) Albert of Stoughton, he was born in Boston and was raised in Hyde Park for 11 years before moving to Stoughton 13 years ago. Erwins was a graduate of Don Bosco Technical High School, Class of 1998 and attended Mount Ida College in Newton. He worked in Information Technology at Children's Hospital in Boston for the past 11 years. He loved music and was an avid Boston sports fan. He truly loved his family and friends and was always willing to help others.
In addition to his parents, Erwins is survived by his sister, Marjorie Perry and her husband Scott of Fuquay Varina, NC and his brother, Paul Alain Albert and his wife Anna of Stoughton. He was the grandson of Charles and Esther Ligonde of Randolph and the uncle of Marie Perry and Nathaniel, Therese and Michael Albert. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. James Church, 560 Page St., Stoughton on Saturday, May 14 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, May 13 from 5:30-8:30 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
