Enes V. Lynch

Enes V. (Grelotti) Lynch, 100, died peacefully at Queen Anne Nursing Home in Hingham on Saturday, August 15, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Holliston on July 5, 1915, she was the daughter of Ermenia and Gettulio Grelotti. One of eight children, Enes was raised in Framingham and was a 1934 graduate of Framingham High. She was the devoted wife of the late Gordon J. Lynch for 68 years. Together they raised five children in Dorchester and moved to Stoughton, MA in the late 1960's. Enes worked at Schrafft's Restaurant in Boston and in the cafeteria at Stoughton High School, retiring in 1985. She was very active at the former Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Stoughton. She enjoyed cooking, especially Italian food and hosting family and friends. She loved music, dancing, and gardening. She was known for her high energy and had a special rapport with children.

She was the mother of Geraldine McCarthy and her husband Jim of Braintree and Maureen Sylvia and her husband Ed of Fairhaven; mother in-law of Stuart O'Brien of Falmouth, Jane Lynch of Arlington and Tony Traficanti of Easton. Enes was predeceased by her daughters, Marie O'Brien and Kathleen Traficanti and son, Paul Lynch. She is survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, August 21 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.
