Elsie Marie (Cole) Phillips

Elsie M. (Cole) Phillips, 81, died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Roy Phillips. Born in Stoughton, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and attended Stoughton Schools. For many years, she worked at Shawmut Mills and at Stoughton Laundry, until her retirement several years ago. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, cooking, playing cards and yahtzee and attending family parties.

She is survived by her daughter Audrey M. Phillips of Stoughton. She was the sister of the late Helen Reid.

Graveside services will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Washington Street at Plain Street, Stoughton on Wednesday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Omitted. Donations in Elsie's Memory may be made to the New England Sinai Adult Day Care, 143 York St., Stoughton, MA 02072.
