Elsie J. Latora

Elsie J. (Merrill) Latora, 87, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at home on Tuesday, June 29. She was the wife of 67 years of Benjamin M. Latora. Born in Malden, she was educated in Stoughton schools. Mrs. Latora was a bookkeeper at the A & P in Dorchester and Shaw's Market in Stoughton, as well as American Biltrite in Stoughton before retiring many years ago. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Stoughton.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Latora is survived by her sons, Michael M. Latora of CA and David C. Latora of FL. She is also survived by her daughter, Pamela Ann Gilbert of FL.
