Elsa (Melo) Medeiros

Elsa (Melo) Medeiros, 87, a resident of Pawtucket, died peacefully at Golden Crest Nursing Home in Providence, RI on Saturday, July 2, 2022. She was the wife of Manuel P. Medeiros. Daughter of the late Antonio Costa Melo and Maria Diamantina (Costa) Melo, she was born in Flores, Azores, Portugal and raised in Flores, São Miguel, Azores and Faial, Azores. Elsa came to the United States in 1965 and settled in Stoughton for many years. She also resided in Fall River for 10 years. She worked in medical billing for Records Center in Canton for many years before retiring over 20 years ago. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and traveling to São Miguel with them.

Elsa was predeceased by 22 brothers and sisters. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, July 7 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
