Elizabeth M. "Betty" (Briscoe) Theriault, 87, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Champion Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Brockton after a long period of failing health. She was the wife of John J. Theriault. Born and raised in Randolph, she was educated in Randolph and Avon Schools. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1952. She worked as a clerk and supervisor for Corcoran Shoe and Avon Sole for many years, retiring several years ago. She was a member of the Rubber Workers Union. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, sewing, ceramics and reading.
Mrs. Theriault was the sister of Maebelle L. Briscoe of Avon, Beverly Robinson of Berkley, Loretta Pinnetti of Easton and the late Walter E. Briscoe, Ruth Corrigan, Pauline Moody, Harriet Smith, Eileen Stevens, Gail Briscoe, Kenneth Briscoe, Alton E. Briscoe and Roger G. Briscoe. She was the devoted and beloved aunt of many.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, September 14 at 12:30 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 11:30 AM -12:30 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
