Elizabeth M. Pooler

Elizabeth M. "Betty" (Burgess) Pooler, 82, died Sunday, July 6 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late James C. Pooler. Born and raised in Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton Schools. She lived in Stoughton for many years, before moving to Raynham over 22 years ago. Mrs. Pooler was a member of the First Congregational Church (the Stone Church) in Raynham and the Red Hat Society. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, line dancing and spending time with her many friends and beloved family.

She is survived by her children: Dale A. Pooler of NC, Linda E. Frenette of E. Taunton, James E. Pooler of E. Bridgewater, Cynthia Pooler of ME and Holly A. Hardiman of Stoughton. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, July 9 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Donations in Betty's name may be made to the First Congregational Church, 785 Main St., Raynham, 02780. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
