Elizabeth Ann (Ventresco) Merzi

Elizabeth Ann (Ventresco) Merzi, 61, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday, December 28, 2024. She was the ex-wife of the late David G. Merzi. Daughter of Peter A. Ventresco of Stoughton and the late Elizabeth A. (Crean) Ventresco, she was born in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1981. She enjoyed going to the beach and cooking but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her father, Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth A. Merzi, Angela J. Molloy and her husband James and Anna R. Merzi all of Stoughton as well as her granddaughter, Cecelia Molloy. She was the sister of Michael Ventresco and his wife Kim of Oradell, NJ, Lucille Ventresco of Stoughton, Peter Ventresco and his wife Michelle of West Bridgewater and Ralph Ventresco and his wife Gina of Easton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Monday, January 6th from 4-7 PM. Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 7th at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
