Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Porrino) Manzer, 73, a longtime resident of West Bridgewater, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 11 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton. She was the wife of the late Neil R. Manzer. Born and raised in Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1957 and Brockton Hospital School of Nursing. She resided in West Bridgewater for 50 years. Mrs. Manzer was a Registered Nurse at Goddard Hospital and Good Samaritan Medical Center for 40 years before retiring over 10 years ago. She also volunteered helping disabled children in West Bridgewater Public Schools for many years. In her free time she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Manzer is survived by her children, Carol A. Buohl and her husband Keith of Bridgewater, Jeffrey A. Manzer of Brooklyn, NY and Russell N. Manzer and his wife Alexandra of Raleigh, NC, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Courtney and Kylie Buohl and Rowan Manzer. She was raised by the late Angelina Gallello with her 2 daughters, Marie Stulpin and the late Diane Gallello. She is also survived by her sisters, Patricia Wardwell and Rose Murphy.

Funeral Service will be held from the Trinity Episcopal Church, 91 Main St., Bridgewater on Saturday, December 15 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
