Elizabeth B. (Dashner) Hardy, 95, passed away on December 5, 2020 at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. Daughter of the late Joseph H. and Emily (Duffy) Dashner, she was born in Boston and raised in Roxbury. She was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School in Roxbury. She was a longtime resident of Stoughton and also lived in North Easton. She was happily married to the late John A. Hardy for 69 years.
Elizabeth was a Traffic Supervisor for the Stoughton Police Department and then was the loan manager for Norfolk County/Bank of America until she retired. She enjoyed knitting and quilting for her family. Elizabeth also had a passion for dancing and singing. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, John A. Hardy, II and his wife Susan of Dover, NH, and Geraldine "Gerry" M. DeLoughrey and her husband James of North Easton. Elizabeth is also survived by her grandchildren, John A. Hardy, III, Holly McCabe, Jennifer Hardy and Erik J. and Heather A. DeLoughrey. She was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph, John and Robert Dashner. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, funeral services are private. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elizabeth's name may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
