Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Cwalina) Berolini, 74, a resident of Brockton, died peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Thursday, July 25, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of 55 years of Joseph L. Berolini. Loving daughter of the late Francis and Lottie Cwalina, she was born in Boston and raised in Hyde Park. She was a graduate of Girls Latin School, Class of 1956 and UMass Boston. She was a resident of Brockton for 49 years. Mrs. Berolini worked until her retirement as the executive assistant to the president of Factory Mutual Insurance Company. She enjoyed spending time with her family and dear friends, and was an avid Red Sox fan.
In addition to her husband, Elizabeth was the devoted mother of Joseph Berolini, Jr. and his wife Linda of Brockton, Patricia McCarthy and her husband James of Wareham, Elizabeth Murphy and her husband John of North Easton, Michael Berolini and his wife Linda of Bridgewater and Marianne Berolini and her husband Tom Sudnik of Greenville, SC. She was the cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of William Cwalina of Randolph and the late Barbara Shannon. She also leaves behind her dear friend Agatha and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, July 29 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Brockton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 3-7 PM. Interment will take place at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
