Elisabeth (Senftleben) Clark, 89, died Sunday, April 23, 2012, at her home after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Paul F. Clark, Jr., USAF (Ret.). Born in Germany, she was raised and educated in Berlin. She met her husband during WWII and moved to the United States in 1950, eventually settling in Stoughton in 1967. Mrs. Clark was a resident of Stoughton until 2000, when she moved to Brockton. She was a homemaker. However, in her later years she was employed at New England Sinai Hospital, Wendy's and the North Elementary School all in Stoughton. Mrs. Clark was a longtime parishioner of St. James Church in Stoughton. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, crocheting, knitting and shopping.
She is survived by her children; Monika Levy and her husband Stuart of CA, Robert E. Clark and his wife Cheri of FL, Thomas M. Clark and Paul F. Clark III both of Brockton, Diana L. Covell and her husband Allan of Bridgewater and Linda S. Eder and her husband Konrad of Marshfield. She was the sister of Hella Johnson of CA and Frieda Misenko of MI. She was the grandmother of Derek and Jacqui Clark, Kimberly and Daniel Covell and Katrina Eder. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, April 27, at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 5-7 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
