Eleanor I. (Edenhofer) Cole

Eleanor I. (Edenhofer) Cole, 94, died Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Harrry E. "Bud" Cole. Born in Wausau, Wisconsin, she was raised and educated in Wisconsin. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1972, previously living in Quincy for many years. Mrs. Cole worked as an Administrative Assistant and buyer for a wholesale clothing company for over 20 years, retiring many years ago. She was a dedicated wife and mother and, in her free time, enjoyed golfing, sewing, cooking, baking and gardening.

Eleanor was the beloved mother of Karin M. Rapson and her husband, the late J. Thomas Rapson of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Robert G. Rapson and Jennifer L. Collings. Mrs. Cole was the sister of Marion Schrores of WI and the late Raymond Edenhofer, Donald Edenhofer, Alvin Edenhofer, Alice Hable and Doris Garcia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours prior to the services from 10-10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in Eleanor's memory may be made to The Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114 or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Pl., Memphis TN 38105.
