Elaine F. (Matson) Sault, 73, a longtime resident of Avon, died Tuesday, December 18 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a short illness. She was the wife of Robert C. Sault. Born in Boston, she was raised in Charlestown and was a graduate of Charlestown High School. She was a homemaker. An avid fan of the Patriots and Red Sox, in her free time, she enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Sandra Lynch of Brockton, Mark Sault and his wife Diana of Franklin, Leslie Sault of VA and Sherry Guilbault and her husband Gene of Bridgewater. She is also survived by her four sisters: Barbara Tabak of Quincy, Marilyn Loring of PA, Karen Middleton of WA and Louise Manning of S. Boston. Mrs. Sault was the grandmother of Courtney and Ryan Lynch and Nicole Guilbault and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, December 22 at 9:30 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester. Donations in Elaine's name may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 1 Harvard St., Brookline MA 02146-9795.
