Elaine D. Bolton

Elaine D. Bolton, 89, of 547 Central Street, Winchendon, formerly of Rosewood Drive, Gardner, died peacefully at Heywood Hospital in Gardner on Friday, June 21 surrounded by her family. Born May 6, 1924 in New York City, daughter of the late Ruth Frieburg and Albert Dorne. She resided in Stoughton for 45 years before moving to Gardner in 1995. Mrs. Bolton was an office manager for Electronic Sheetmetal Craftsmen in Stoughton for 20 years before retiring in 1986. Elaine was an avid reader, Patriots fan and golfer. She was a founding member of the Stoughton Little Theatre, a member of Sharon Country Club for 40 years and more recently, Heritage Village Association in Gardner.

She leaves a son, Robert C. Bolton, Jr. of Blandford, MA, a daughter, Cathy Wambolt and her husband Brad of Lincoln, ME, a daughter, Patricia Edwards and her husband William of Gardner, MA, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Bolton, Sr., married 52 years, died in 1996, her son, Albert D., died 1995, grandson, Glenn Edwards, died 2006 and dear friend, Carl Murray, died 2012.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, July 8 at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elaine's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
