Eileen (O'Neill) Connors, 63, died Tuesday, May 1, at her home after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of 32 years of Kenneth J. Connors. Born in Boston, she was raised in Cambridge and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Cambridge. She also attended business school. Mrs. Connors was a resident of Stoughton since 1978. She worked as a bookkeeper at Windsor Tire in Stoughton for over 20 years and also as a waitress at the Town Spa Restaurant in Stoughton for over 25 years. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, crafts and sewing.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Connors is survived by her three daughters, Michelle A. Gallello and Christine M. Fisher both of Avon and Courtney A. Davis of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Devin S. Gallello, Brendan A. Irving, Troy D. Fisher and Dominic L. Davis. She was the sister of Marianne Monaghan of RI, Bernard O'Neill of FL and Patricia O'Neill of Arlington. She is also survived by her mother in law Madelyn Connors of Stoughton and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, May 5 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church, Avon at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 4-8 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in Eileen's memory may be made to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Oncology Dept, ATTN Development, 330 Brookline Ave, Boston MA 02215.
