Edwin S. Webber, III, died Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Boston Medical Center in Boston, after a period of failing health. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain and attended Boston Schools. In 1964, he married Ann E. “Nancy” Becker, and together they enjoyed over 60 years of marriage. They moved to Stoughton in 1972. Ed worked as a Corrections Officer at the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office for over 23 years, retiring in 1993. He was also a longtime Stoughton Auxiliary Police Officer. Eddie was a longtime member of the Stoughton Fish and Game Association and the Stoughton Knights of Columbus. He was a man who was always moving, tinkering around his yard, working on his house and cleaning his pool. He loved to garden and always loved being outside. His best memories were surrounded by his family and friends.
In addition to his wife Ann E. “Nancy” (Becker) Webber of Stoughton, he is survived by his daughter Lisa M. Woods of Stoughton. He was the brother of Brenda DiPiro and Colleen VanVoorhis both of Roslindale, Joyce Brown of W. Roxbury, Michael Webber and his wife Elaine of Walpole, formerly of Mansfield and the late Frances Forgeron and her husband Steven. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Services will be private.
