Edward A. Rappoli, 74, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth on Friday, July 28, 2023. He was the husband of Janet L. (Carlson) Rappoli for 51 years. Son of the late Arthur E. and Dorothy H. (Keenan) Rappoli, he was born in Boston and raised in Lincoln. He was a graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, Class of 1967. Ed then graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy with the rank of Lieutenant before graduating from Ricker College in Houlton, ME. He was a computer application salesman for Verses in - for 10 years and Northern Data in Dedham for 10 years. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Ed is survived by his children, Mark E. Rappoli, Lisa M. Rappoli and her fiancé Mark Terry and Laura E. Politano and her husband Justin all of Stoughton as well as his grandchildren, Samantha, Mason, Mina and Xavier Rappoli and Charlotte, Benjamin and James Politano. He was the brother of Carol Rappoli of Amesbury and William Rappoli. He is also survived by 2 nieces and an aunt.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, August 3 from 4-6 followed by Funeral Prayers at 6 PM. Interment will be private.
