Edward Murray

Edward Murray, 59, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a long courageous battle with declining health. He was the husband of the late Teresa A. "Tammy" (McMemimon) Murray. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Mr. Murray was the founder and owner of Murray Roofing in Stoughton. He was an accomplished pool player and was a member of several area pool leagues. A dedicated grandfather, in his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

Mr. Murray was the father of Edward Murray and Kevin J. Murray both of Stoughton and the late Patricia J. Murray. He was the brother of Steven F. Murray of Norwood, Patrick Murray and Karen F. Romeiro both of Stoughton and Leo J. Murray of Boston. Ed was the proud grandfather of Lily Rego, Kyla and Kailynn Murray. He was the son of the late Leo J. Murray, who passed away March 26, 2018 and the late Patricia (Egan) Murray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte 27) Stoughton on Thursday, April 19, at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10AM. Visiting hours Wednesday, April 18, from 5-8 PM.
