Edward L. Marsh

Edward Leon Marsh, 77, of Hilton Head Island, SC died unexpectedly on Monday, December 9, 2019 while visiting in Norwood. He was the husband of NancyLee (Martin) Marsh. Born in Waltham, he was raised in Wayland and was a graduate of Wayland Schools. He attended Northeastern University and interrupted his studies to join the US Navy, where he served honorably for two years, including a tour in Vietnam. He was Honorably Discharged in November 1965. Mr. Marsh returned home and continued his studies at Northeastern and graduated with his Bachelors of Science degree. He had a successful career as a sales and marketing executive with IBM and other technology companies. He was a resident of Walpole for several years and retired to Hilton Head over 25 years ago. Ed was a proud American who was generous and hard working. He was a fan of the Patriots and had joyfully attended the recent Patriots game with his son the day before he died. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, spending time with his family and friends and traveling.

In addition to his wife NancyLee, Ed is survived by his children, Kym Berry of Milford MA, David E. Marsh of Stoughton, MA and Jennifer Marsh Muenow of Bluffton, SC. He was the brother of the late Beverly M. Bonsall and Elizabeth Yearwood.

Private family services will be held.
