Edward A. "Skip" Goeller, Jr., 66, of Stoughton, died unexpectedly Saturday October 4, in Tuftonboro, NH. He was the husband of Mary (Lavery) Goeller. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Quincy. He later moved to Stoughton where he lived for the last 40 years. He graduated from R.E.T.S. Technical School and later became a Master Electronics Technician. Skip enjoyed spending time on his boat in Lake Winnipesaukee and was an avid fan of the Celtics, Patriots and Red Sox. Most of all Skip enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters Emily and Megan.
In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by his children, Charles "Chuck" Goeller of Stoughton and Karen Sargent and her husband Michael of Middleboro, as well as his granddaughters, Emily and Megan Sargent. He was also survived by his sister Madeline McGrath and her husband David of Marshfield and his brother Frederic Goeller and his wife Sandi of North Attleboro and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, October 8 at 10AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in Skip's name can be made to the charity of your choice.
