Edward J. Ferreira, 55, died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after being stricken ill at his home in Raynham. Born in New Bedford, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and attended Southeastern Regional High School. He was a resident of Raynham since 1999. He worked for Laborer's Union Local 609 in Framingham for many years and was a very well renowned fence installer. He was dedicated to his work and in his free time, he enjoyed fishing, watching movies, music and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Mr. Ferreira is survived by his children; Edward J. Ferreira of Raynham and Jennifer M. Ferreira of FL and their mother Jessica M. (Dahl) Ferreira. He was the beloved son of Maria L. (Correia) Ferreira of Stoughton and the late Eduino M. Ferreira. He was the brother of Michael C. Ferreira and James C. Ferreira. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Anthony Ferreira and Aubrie Ferreira and his girlfriend Trish Happel
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Monday, February 6 from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
