Edmund F. Jameson, age 76, passed away on July 4, 2023, at the Copley at Stoughton. He was predeceased by his wife Dianne L. (Dorley) Jameson. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Ester (Craig) and Gordon Jameson, and was raised in Dedham and Holbrook, and resided in Randolph, before recently moving to Stoughton. He served in the Airforce in his younger years and went on to attend Northeastern University receiving a degree. He was a police officer for East Bridgewater, and then went on to serve on the Stoughton Police Force for 22 years, retiring in 2004. He was an advocate for foster care, and coached softball and pop warner football for many years. He also loved to travel with his late wife Diane, taking family trips to Disney and Bermuda, and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter Kerri Fix and her husband James of Brockton, and was preceded in death by his two sons, Scott, and Logan Jameson. He was the brother to Gordon and Craig Jameson, and the late Garry, Loretta, and George Jameson. He was the grandfather to Matthew and Tayla Jameson and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life held for Ed on Saturday, July 15th at the Knights of Columbus, 14 Seaver Street, Stoughton, from 1-5PM.
