Eda M. (Ravarino) Roberts, 96, died Sunday, March 22, at the Windgate at Silver Lake Nursing Home in Kingston. She was the wife of the late Edgar O. Roberts. Born in Memphis, TN, she was a graduate of Memphis Schools. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1954. Mrs. Roberts worked as a machinist for J.W. Wood in Stoughton for many years. She retired several years ago. During WWII, she worked in the Washington DC area. While in Stoughton, she was a volunteer for the elderly at the LaCivita Court for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and celebrating Christmas.
Mrs. Roberts was the loving mother of Dennis C. Roberts and his wife Jeanne of Dennisport, formerly of Pembroke, and Susan L. Kline and her husband Jim of Baltimore, MD., and the late David Roberts. She was the Loving sister to Alma Peterson, Legia Wade, Janet Delaney and the late Nino Raverino. She is also survived by three Grandchildren, Kelly Walsh, Stacey Smith, Aaron Kline, as well as eight Great Grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held in the St. Joseph's The Worker Church, One Maquan St. (route 14) Hanson, MA., on Wednesday at 12 Noon. Visiting Hours omitted.
