Dorothy E. (Johnson) Waldron, 61, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Sunday, January 20 at her home after a short illness. Born in Springfield, MA, the daughter of Albert E. Johnson and Martha (Blanchard) Johnson, she was raised and educated in Canton and a graduate of Canton Schools. A homemaker, Mrs. Waldron also worked in the payroll department at Hills Department Stores in Canton and also at Page's Market in Stoughton. She also worked as a seamstress. Mrs. Waldron was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Amvets, Post 1977 in Stoughton. An avid fan of the Patriots and Red Sox, in her free time, she enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.
She was the Devoted Mother of Cheryl A. Percival of Stoughton, Anthony V. Sferrazza of Bridgewater, Cara M. Beardsworth of Stoughton, Michael E. Sferrazza and his wife Taryn of Holbrook and the late Richard L. Sferrazza. She was the Loving Grandmother of Lance R. Beardsworth.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, January 23 from 5-8. Funeral will be private.
