Dorothy "Dot" (Benoit) Rogers, 84, born January 14, 1928, passed away on December 15, 2012 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the beloved wife of 65 years of Henry J. Rogers, formerly of Canton. She was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1946, where she was a member of the cheerleading team and captain of the field hockey team. Mrs. Rogers owned and operated with her family Dorothy Jean's Bakery in Stoughton. She loved traveling and traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and the U.S. After retirement she went to Pompano Beach, FL for the winters. She enjoyed Boston sports, shopping and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rogers was the loving mother of Dorothy Rogers of N. Attleboro, Jean Rogers of Stoughton, Paul Rogers and his wife Karen Duross of Norton and Mark Rogers and his wife Angela of Chandler, AZ. She was the grandmother of Anthony Parma, Mark Rogers, Brian Rogers-Botellio, Katie, Kevin, Keith, Danny and Jillian Rogers.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, December 20 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
