Dorothy E. (Regan) Labbe

Dorothy E. (Regan) Labbe, age 99, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024, at the Copley in Stoughton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Paul Labbe. Born in Cambridge, daughter of the late William A. and Lena (Marquette) Regan, she was raised and educated in St. Margaret’s Parish in Dorchester and was a graduate of Girls High School in Boston. Dorothy was a resident of Stoughton for over 60 years. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother who also worked in the Optical Department at Jordan Marsh in Boston for many years. Dorothy was active at the Stoughton Senior Center and enjoyed traveling, with cherished memories of her trips to Europe, and to many of the 50 states. In her free time, she enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends.

Dorothy is survived by her son Brian J. Labbe of Stoughton, and was predeceased by her son Robert P. Labbe, Jr. She was the beloved grandmother of Brian Labbe, Lisa Labbe and the late Jennifer Labbe Camara. She was the great-grandmother of Robert and Daniel Labbe, Cole Davenport and Skylar Labbe. She is also survived by her sister Phyllis Shovine of Florida and was preceded in death by her siblings William and Francis Regan. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

A Visiting Hour will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27), Stoughton from 9-10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Private burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
