Dorothy (MacDonald) Finlayson, 85, died at the Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood on Tuesday, September 5. She was the wife of the late Raymond A. Finlayson. Born in Quincy, she was a graduate of East Bridgewater High School, Class of 1939. Mrs. Finlayson was a resident of Wrentham for 11 years after living in West Roxbury for over 40 years. She was a Nursing Assistant at the Jewish Recuperative Center in West Roxbury for over 25 years before retiring 15 years ago.
Mrs. Finlayson is survived by her children, Robert D. Finlayson and his wife Janet of Stoughton, Neil A. Finlayson and his wife Denise of Hyde Park and Catherine F. Krim and her husband Brian of Wrentham; her grandchildren, Janine Franceschi, Roderick Finlayson and his wife Rhonda, Alexander Finalyson, Reed Reynolds and Robyn Reynolds and her great-grandson, Robb Franceschi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Malcolm MacDonald.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, September 8 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
