Dorothy Ann (Williams) Cushing, 85, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Copley at Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Robert G. Cushing. Daughter of the late James W. and Dorothy A. (Cronin) Williams, she was born in Stoughton and graduated Valedictorian of the Class of 1951 from Stoughton High School. Ann was a longtime secretary and patient accounts manager for the Stoughton VNA. An avid Patriots fan, she enjoyed camping at Bourne Scenic Park and spending time and dancing with her friends, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Ann is survived by her children, Kathy A. MacEachern and her husband Robert of Stoughton, Robert G. Cushing, Jr. and his longtime companion Judy Davis of Bourne and Kevin J. Cushing of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Colleen Borys and her husband David and Neil MacEachern and the great-grandmother of Layla M. Borys. She was the sister of James W. Williams and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, April 27 at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Ann's memory may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children-Boston, Development Office, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
