Doris L. Miller

Doris L. (Darling) Miller, 60, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at her home in Brockton. Born in Stoneham, she was raised and educated in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School. Mrs. Miller was a resident of Brockton for the past 8 years, previously living in Plymouth and Hanson. She worked as an Insurance Agent for Metropolitan Insurance for several years. She was very active at the Campello High Rise in Brockton. She loved the color purple and in her free time, she enjoyed shopping, playing Bingo, making dolls, doing crafts and spending time with her cat Lacey and her family.
She leaves her children, Robert A. Miller and his fiance Kim Daley and Marylou Miller and her significant other Vito Gurevich all of Brockton and Kristen M. Miller of Stow. She was the grandmother of Madison Hall, Eben Hall and Elery Hall. She was the sister of William Darling of Maine and the late Eugene Darling. She is also survived by two nieces.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 7 PM. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the prayers from 4-7 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Animal Protection Center, 1300 West Elm St. Ext, Brockton, MA 02301.
