Doris (Pietro) Arnold, 76, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 24 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Raymond D. Arnold. Born and educated in Boston, Mrs. Arnold was a resident of Stoughton for 40 years. She was a homemaker at home with her family. In her free time she enjoyed cooking.
Mrs. Arnold is survived by her sons, Raymond D. Arnold, Jr. of Easton, Clyde B. Arnold of Taunton, Stephen B. Arnold of Norton and Mark A. Arnold of W. Wareham. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, January 27 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Donations in Doris' name may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, 02472.
