Doreen M. (Rust) Wood, 87, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Wednesday, September 21. Born and raised in Stoughton, she was a graduate of St. Mary's School. She was a lifelong resident of Stoughton. Mrs. Wood worked as a Nurses Aide at the VFW Parkway Nursing Home in West Roxbury for 25 years before retiring many years ago.
Doreen is survived by her children, William Hood and Gary Moors both of Stoughton and Cathy Ann Hatch and her husband Bryce Hatch of Brockton. She was the sister of Barbara Johnson of Plymouth and the late Freda Hermanson. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Private family services were held.
