Donna L. (McCabe) Azevedo

Donna L. Azevedo, 62, of Brockton, passed away Sunday the 17th of September, from complications of several medical conditions. She was the youngest daughter of the late Lillian and Leo McCabe. Donna will be remembered for her love of cats, cigarettes, coffee, nice pens, and spending time at the beach.

Donna is survived by her brother William Archie Goodwin, her daughters: Renee Robbins and Christine Leaf, her beautiful granddaughters: Bryana Morency and Violet Leaf, and her niece Melissa Goodwin. She will also be remembered by Frank Johnson as the love of his life, and Cicelia Lally, her best friend since childhood. She was predeceased by her brothers George Goodwin and Robert "Bobby" Goodwin.

Donna dedicated her life to caring for veterans, working at the VA hospital for more than 30 years. Her family kindly requests in lieu of flowers that donations of time or money be made at your local VA Hospital or veteran charity. Visiting hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday, September 24th from 2-4 PM. There will not be a funeral.
