Dolores A. Day

Dolores A. (McArdle) Day, 80, a longtime resident of Canton, died at Norwood Hospital on Sunday, March 22, 2015. She was the wife of the late William E. Day. Daughter of the late Henry J. and Marion (Simon) McArdle, she was born and educated in Boston. She was a resident of Canton since 1970. Mrs. Day was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing Bingo, cooking, art and gardening.
Mrs. Day was the mother of William Steven Day of Boston, Mark E. Day of East Bridgewater, Robert M. Day of NH, Fatima "Tina" Day Schultz of Easton and the late Theresa M. Day and the grandmother of Matthew A. Day, Rebecca L. Schultz, Katrina R. Schultz, Rachel Day and the late Mark E. Day, Jr. She was the sister of Carol Cassiburi of Paxton, Kathleen Benjamin of Boston, Ronald McArdle of FL and the late Lorraine Graney and Patrick McArdle and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, March 27 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
