Diane H. (Hurley) Noyes, 63, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on Saturday, July 3, 2021. She was the wife of the late Gregory R. Noyes. Daughter of the late Charles L and Marie E. (Cashman) Hurley, she was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester. She was a graduate of Monsignor Ryan Memorial High School for Girls, Class of 1976 and Boston College, Class of 1980. She resided in Stoughton for the past 33 years. Diane was a registered nurse at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston for over 30 years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
Diane was the kindest and most selfless person you could ever meet. She loved her kids fully, unconditionally, and always worked hard to give them the best possible lives. She was a wonderful sister; thoroughly enjoying the time spent with her sister Marie visiting her in Texas as well as their weekly Friday night phone calls. She was also the greatest friend that anyone could ever ask for. Whether it was a lunch date or a simple phone call or text, she was always there. Diane was also a wonderful and caring nurse, truly loving all who she worked with and had the ability to help. She has touched many lives through her kindness and love and will be greatly missed by all.
Diane is survived by her children, Christopher M. Noyes and his wife Ashley, Brian P. Noyes and Daniel R. Noyes all of Stoughton and Meghan E. Driscoll and her wife Caroline of Brockton, as well as her granddaughter, Harper R. Driscoll. She was the sister of Marie Edwards of Spring, TX and the late Paula Hamilton. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Stephen Hamilton of Dorchester and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, July 8 at 10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Donations in Diane's name may be made to the Office of Development, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, 330 Brookline Avenue (OV), Boston, MA 02215.
