Diane C. (Barbaglia) Lamplough, 83, died Thursday, April 25, 2019, at her home in Stoughton, surrounded by her beloved family, after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Charles P. Lamplough. Born, raised and educated in Canton, she was a graduate of Canton High School. Mrs. Lamplough worked as a Bookkeeper for Communication Systems in Dedham for over 20 years, retiring at age 65. She was a longtime resident of Stoughton. She was a member of the Board of Directors of the Canton High School Alumni Association for several years. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, knitting, shopping, spending time at the beach and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Lamplough was the mother of Michele A. Ducott and her husband Gary and Valerie J. Stark, all of VT, Kimberly M. Crespi and her husband Richard of Halifax and Charles A. "Buddy" Lamplough and his wife Laura of Stoughton. She was the sister of the late Lina DiGiralamo, Chano Barbaglia, Tarzi Barbaglia and Robert Barbaglia. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, April 30th at 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at the St. James Church, Stoughton at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, April 29th from 4-7 PM. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 2 PM. Donations in Diane's memory may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
