Denise L. Shivener

Denise L. Shivener, 56, died Sunday, December 20, at the Kindred Hospital in Stoughton after a period of failing health. Born in Boston, she was raised in Plympton and was a graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School. She was a resident of Brockton for the past 10 years, previously living in Plymouth. Miss Shivener worked as an Administrative Assistant for Tire Center, Inc. in Taunton. As a youth, she was very active in 4-H. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, shopping and spending time with her family.
Miss Shivener is survived by her son, Kenneth V. Osborne, Jr. of Brockton, her granddaughter Nevaeh Denise Osborne and her sister Diane M. Miller of RI. She was predeceased by her parents Jean P. (Murphy) Shivener and Lewis H. Shivener.
Funeral Prayers will offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, December 23 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours will be prior to the services from 10-11AM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in her memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 Lyndon B.
