Debra V. (Hill) Meireles, 50, died July 20 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of John L. Meireles. Born in Brockton, she was raised there and was a graduate of Brockton High School. Mrs. Meireles was a resident of Bridgewater for many years before moving to Raynham 4 years ago. She worked as a Real Estate Agent for Heritage Homes in East Bridgewater and also for J & K Realty. She was also the former manager for the Mobil Station in Raynham. Mrs. Meireles was also a licensed Real Estate Broker and Property and Casualty Broker. In her free time, she enjoyed swimming and reading.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Sean M. Meireles and Joshua D. Meireles both of Raynham. She was the devoted sister of Richard D. Hill of Quincy, Virginia R. Liss and her husband Robert of Middleboro, Robert W. Hill and his wife Maryann of Stoughton, Kenneth A. Hill and his wife June of Bridgewater, John H. "Jack" Hill and his wife Dixie of Hanson and the late Dianne M. Fleenor. She was the Loving Sister in law of Maria DaRosa of RI. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth A. and Margaret (Mahoney) Hill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, July 24, at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Donations in Debbie's name may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston, 02115.
