Deborah L. (O'Neil) Kelly, 62, died May 14, 2017, at her home in Abington after a short period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Matthew P. Kelly. Born and raised in Malden, she was a graduate of Girls High School in Malden. She also was a graduate of the Malden Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Kelly was a resident of Abington for the past 7 years and previously lived in Stoughton for many years. She worked as the Vice President of Clinical Services for Radius Specialty Hospital in Boston for several years. Previously, she worked as a Registered Nurse at several area hospitals including Winthrop Hospital. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and playing Legos with her grandson.
Mrs. Kelly was the mother of Bridget L. Niles and her husband Douglas and Matthew R. Kelly both of Abington. She was the Beloved and Devoted Grandmother of Sean P. Niles. Deb was the sister of Russell J. O'Neil and his wife Gail of Plymouth and Mark J. O'Neil and his wife Doreen of NH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, May 17 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
