Dawnmarie Surdam, 41, a registered nurse, died unexpectedly at home in Taunton on Monday, March 21. Born and raised in Stoughton, she graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1987. She earned her Nursing Degree from Quincy College. Dawnmarie was a resident of Taunton for the past 3 months. She was a registered nurse at Brockton Dialysis Center for 15 years. She was a proud friend of Bill W. In her free time she enjoyed riding her motorcycle, gardening and especially spending time with her grandson, David.
Dawnmarie is survived by her son, David G. Bryer and his wife Jaime of Taunton. She was the "Lovey" of David W. Bryer. She was the daughter of Kathleen Reid Drago and her husband Ronald Drago of Stoughton and Alfred Surdam of CA. She was the sister of Robin McKeon of Plymouth, Laura Cristina of Attleboro and Melissa McHugh of Brockton. She was the longtime companion of the late John O'Connor. Dawnmarie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, March 24 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dawnmarie's name may be made to the Education Benefit Fund of her Grandson, David W. Bryer, P.O. Box 422, Taunton, MA 02780.
