David M. Rose

David M. Rose, 57, died Friday, February 12, 2010, at his home after a long illness. He was the husband of Joanne C. (Beck) Rose. Born in Wareham, he was raised in Falmouth and was a graduate of Falmouth Schools. He worked for Star Markets for over 35 years. Recently he worked as the Receiver at the Wellesley Star Market. Known for his outgoing and friendly personality, in his free time, he enjoyed landscaping his yard and pool area, eating and sports, especially the Red Sox and Patriots.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Lauren K. Rose of Stoughton. He was the son of the late Lawrence G. Rose and Bertha (Lumbert) Rose and the stepson of Carol Rose of Falmouth. David was the brother of Sharon Gervais, Angela Rose, Lawrence G. Rose, John Rose, Robert Rose, Brian Rose and Damon Rose all of Cape Cod and the late Kevin Cooke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his granddaughter Katerina Rose Nunez.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, February 19, at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday, February 18, from 5-8 PM.
