David P. Lore, Sr., 63, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. He was the husband of Lorraine M. (Tobin) Lore. Son of the late Leo and Suzanne Lore, he was born in Needham and raised in Dedham. He was a resident of Stoughton for 36 years. David was a mechanic at R.J. Messina in Brockton before retiring last year. He loved fixing all kinds of things, especially cars. He was a member of the Wheels of Time.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by his sons, David P. Lore, Jr. of Hermon, ME, Christopher J. Lore and Michael J. Lore both of Stoughton, as well as his grandchildren, David P. Lore, III and Amelia Rose Lore. He was the brother of Maryann Lore of Stoughton and Rose Marie Dunn of Dedham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, July 16 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 5-7 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
