David Thomas Lombard, "Lumpy", age 69, passed away on September 23, 2021 at the Newton Wellesley Hospital. He was the son to Marie (Hopkins) and John Lombard. He was a graduate of Stoughton Highschool and was a resident of Stoughton for his whole life. He was a Truck Driver for many years working for Mystic Island Transport Inc. He was an avid golf player and played regularly at Cedar Hill Golf Course in Stoughton. He enjoyed reading in his spare time and had an interest in anything that had to do with Sci-Fi. He especially loved his family and spending time with his daughter, his granddaughter and her dog Diesel.
David is survived by his daughter Diane Lombard and her husband Joe Leonard. He is survived by his cherished granddaughter Teagan Bassett. He was the brother to John Lombard, Margie Lombard and Mike Lombard and the late Ken Lombard. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews: Heidi, Corey, Nicole, Matty, Lizzie, Kelly, Kenny, Meagan and was predeceased by Katie.
Visiting hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton, on Thursday October 7th from 6-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children 51 Blossom St, Boston, MA 02114 or at www.lovetotherescue.org
